Proceeds will benefit single mothers in disadvantaged, low income areas
The Jarvis Green Foundation's Fourth Annual Wine Tasting Gala, which benefits disadvantaged single mothers in low income areas, saw attendees enjoy a great night for charitable cause. New Englanders were greeted by New England Patriots Minuteman Mascots as they filed into the Johnson & Wales Inn for a night that included dining on gourmet food, sipping fine wines, a raffle and a silent auction.
In addition to swilling wines of various flavors and origins from stations placed throughout the venue, attendees also sampled international cuisine catered by Executive Chef Ken Watts of Audrey's, the flagship restaurant of Johnson and Wales. In addition, patrons enjoyed music provided by The Nate Mott Band, jokes by comedian D'lai, and performances by magicians Dan and Andrew Cipolla (of Dac Magic) and Tom aka "The Great Baldini."
A former New England Patriot and current Houston Texan, Jarvis was joined by current Patriots, Logan Mankins, Mike Wright and Brian Hoyer. Also in attendance were former Patriot player Patrick Pass, Actress/Model Melyssa Ford and various top local executives.
During the event, Green acknowledged the single mothers who won radio sponsor TOUCH 106.1 FM's Jarvis Gives Holiday Sweepstakes this past December. Thus far, the Jarvis Green Foundation has been able to help the lives of 250 single mothers and looks forward to increasing as the years go on. Jarvis would like to thank the sponsors WEEI 103.7 FM sports radio, TOUCH 106.1 FM, Regency Plaza apartments, Blush Wine Bar, Cigar Masters, Antaya Technologies Corporation, Zooma Trattoria, Sassafrass Hair Salon, Lincoln Chiropractic for their support.
Jarvis is genuinely dedicated to his foundation's cause and is preparing for his Southern Louisiana Wine Tasting Gala on May 27 in Baton Rouge, LA. The money raised from both events will fund grants that greatly improve the circumstances of some deserving families. Soon Jarvis will launch his Wine Tasting Social events at Grille 23 in Boston, MA. Please check out www.jarvisgreen.com for updates.
