PartnerFirst, LLC announced today its partnership with the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB) in creating a certified, nationwide, and multicultural short sale agent network to help minority communities across America avoid foreclosure.
Both organizations share the vision of bringing stability and sustainability to the minority housing market by creating community awareness through homeowner education, community outreach, and local government support.
"We are honored to get the support of NAREB in our efforts to provide communities with educational programs that are culturally sensitive, empowering homeowners to identify and pursue the best possible outcome for their situations," said Son Nguyen, Chief Operating Officer for PartnerFirst. "Our Minority Outreach Initiative (MOI) is designed to provide mortgage servicers, outsourcers, and government-sponsored entities (GSE) insight and guidance in developing homeowner outreach programs that are culturally diverse and inclusive."
NAREB, the nation's oldest minority professional trade association with active chapters, provides training and education to real estate professionals serving communities nationwide. Members carry numerous real estate industry certifications and special designations and abide by a strict code of ethics.
"The PartnerFirst and NAREB alliance offers NAREB member Realtists® the opportunity to add an industry-recognized short sale certification to their toolbox that helps distressed homeowners. We have a special charge to work to restore and revitalize communities of color," said Vincent Wimbish, NAREB's President and Chief Executive Officer.
