Share The Dream And Perpetuate The Purpose With President Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, The Tuskegee Airman, The Buffalo Soldier And Other Thomas Blackshear Ebony Visions™ Figurines, Each Available At Collector Hub, In Time For Black History Month!

This year, commemorate the contributions of Black Americans and perpetuate their purpose with the gift of Thomas Blackshear’s Ebony Visions collectible figurines. These historical works of art stand as silent, yet stark reminders of America’s past, present and future. From The Buffalo Soldier to The Tuskegee Airman, to America’s first black couple in the White House, Blackshear’s figurines honor these Americans whose purpose, then and still today, ensures the rights of all Americans in a free and united nation. His figurine United We Stand, an army soldier ready for battle, depicts the bravery of those who have fought for this freedom. Collectors, history buffs and enthusiasts of Blackshear’s art, home décor and collectibles can proudly show their support and patriotism with these outstanding figurines, available and ready for shipment at CollectorHub.com.

True to life renditions, the figurines of President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama have been crafted with precise attention to detail. He stands before two American Flags on a wooden stand and she looks elegantly beautiful in a classic red dress, tailored to her fabulous figure. These historic pieces are bound to be collectible items and they make a statement about the past, present and future of black history in America. There is a striking difference in Blackshear’s portrayal of The Buffalo Soldier to The Tuskegee Airman and then the army soldier in United We Stand; these pieces tell a story of the fight for freedom and equality that perpetuates the purpose of Black History Month.

What started out as Negro History Week has grown into a month of recognition and celebration for the contributions of individuals who, because of their beliefs in unity, respect and equality for all, have dedicated their lives to the greater cause. Honoring these pioneers of justice, Thomas Blackshear, whose Ebony Visions collection has made him one of the most collected artists of African-American works, has created a dynamic visual legacy that brings history to life.

A heritage that can be shared by all Americans, regardless of their race, religion or skin color, Blackshear’s Ebony Visions collection portrays the African-American way of life in a dignified and endearing manner. His unprecedented works of art have captured the essence of the Black American with courage, integrity and tenacity. Three virtues common to the heroes who have helped to shape this country’s history.

“Never before in the history of Collector Hub, have we had so many wonderful pieces of Thomas Blackshear’s art to honor the heroic efforts of Black Americans. I’m just proud that we have so much to offer,” says Larraine Covington, Director of Collector Hub. Now celebrating its 10th year as the premier online community for enthusiasts of Blackshear’s works, Collector Hub has a limited number of these pieces available and ready for shipment in time to celebrate Black History Month.

In addition to the historic figurines, Collector Hub stocks Blackshear’s Ebony Visions African-American Nativity. A five-year collectible series, this beautiful setting includes The Holy Family with Joseph, Mary and Baby Jesus along with individual figurines of The Three Wise Men, The Sheep with Lamb, The Donkey, The Camel and The Angel Gabriel. All of these pieces are available at Collector Hub and ready for shipment. To complete the Nativity, Blackshear’s final release of this series will be The Shepherds, who after receiving a blessed visit from the angels proclaiming Christ’s birth, went to Bethlehem to see the newborn baby. The Shepherds will be introduced in 2011.
